Nearly 25,000 households in Queensland's southeast woke up lacking electricity on Monday morning after intense storm systems swept through the region, producing powerful gusts hitting over 100 km/h.
Large Hailstones and Widespread Damage
Homeowners reported giant hailstones as large as 7 centimeters in particular locations. Weather authorities announced that different parts across the state had been impacted by large hailstones.
